William H. Hosgood (1881-83)

Tenor chorister William Hearson Hosgood toured with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "A" Company (later "B" Company) from January to at least December 1881. He reportedly toured with the Carte organization until 1883. At some point after leaving the D'Oyly Carte, he reportedly took the name (or stage name) of W. H. Horford.
