(Mr.) Howe (1884-87)
A Mr. Howe was a tenor chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company at the Savoy for the first revival of The Sorcerer with Trial by Jury (October 1884-March 1885), and at least a portion of the first production of The Mikado (March 1885-January 1887). During the first month of the Sorcerer/Trial revival (October 1884), Howe filled in on at least one occasion for Durward Lely as the Defendant in Trial by Jury.
