Louise Trimble (1914-15)

Mary Louise Githens Trimble was for six months principal soprano with the D'Oyly Carte Principal Repertory Opera Company. She assumed the roles of Josephine in H.M.S. Pinafore, Princess Ida in Princess Ida, Yum-Yum in The Mikado, Elsie Maynard in The Yeomen of the Guard, and Gianetta in The Gondoliers in December 1914 when Clara Dow left the Company. Miss Trimble herself left when the season ended in June 1915. She later sang in concert parties, and toured in La Poupée and The Pearl Girl.
